Flexible array ultrasonic nondestructive testing system
Function summary
Flexible array ultrasonic nondestructive testing system consists of flexible two-dimensional array transducer, multichannel transceiver apparatus and computer. It can realize real-time imaging of surface microdefects of the curved surface components.
Technical features
Small array element size, flexible structure, adapting to the shape of tested components, no problem of coupling, large signal amplitude.
Hardware control, realizing the control of each array transducer element, no need to move the transducer
Real-time B scan imaging of the curved surface, clearly showing the locations of defects, high resolution and high detection efficiency.

Equivalent detectable defect area on the curved surface: 0.1×5mm
Technical principl
Based on the principle of guided wave propagation and the modal control, single-mode guided wave can be simulated by the two-dimensional array transducer. Using the principle of phased array, the scanning and imaging of the curved surface can be obtained.
Applications
It can be applied to plate parts defects detection,gear tooth root micro cracks detection and curved surface components scanning and imaging testing.
