Optical measurement technology for complex rotary parts contours |
Function summary |
Optical measurement technology for complex rotary parts contours is based on the need for measurement of rotary parts at work sites. It integrates the advanced laser sensor technology, the numerical control technology and the computer image processing technology. The optical measurement system for rotary parts mainly consist of the mechanical system, the motion control system, the data acquisition system and the software system. The mechanical systems is used to mount the tested workpieces and the measuring sensors, and to realize the relative motion between them. The motion control system is used to control the measuring sensor to move along the workpiece axis and the workpiece to move around its axis. The data acquisition system is used for measuring the axial and the radial dimensions of the rotary parts. The software system then process the collected data, construct the contour of the tested rotary part, and evaluate the error of the contour. |

Technical principle |
|
During the measurement process, the software system first sends motion control instructions, the motion control system then controls the axial servo machine to move the optical image sensor to the original point of the measurement system, and then the slide drives the optical image sensor to move along the workpiece axis, and in this process, the optical image sensor and the grating scale synchronously collect the axial data and the radial data of the workpiece at every point. The data acquisition system processes the collected data and then saves the processed data in the storage. Thus, the measurement of the rotary part is completed. |
